Senior Slump? Snap Out of It! We know you have got worked very hard within the last few years using most of those challenging courses, getting associated with numerous extracurriculars, accepting leadership positions, etc. And, you are truly working very difficult now on your university applications. You may feel very tempted to put down your school work in support of other, more exciting opportunities (senior ditch day, anyone?) But trust us, now is perhaps not the time to slack off. You came this far, and you want to make sure you complete strong. And not only on your own comfort of mind, though we do hope you have got your own internal motivations. Realistically, though, what will probably motivate you most to keep those year that is senior up is just a little one thing called the Mid-Year Report.

The Mid-Year Report is a Common application that must be submitted by your therapist after very first semester year that is senior become available. Our workplace takes these grades under consideration, and expects that the trend in your grades will continue. That means that if you were earning high grades prior to, there isn’t any reason those As shouldn’t be reflected on your Mid-Year Report.

And while we’re in the topic, senioritis is not an excuse to allow your second-semester year that is senior slip, either. We’ll be sent a transcript that is final your high college, and certainly will be sure that those grades are intact, too. As always, we reserve the directly to rescind any admission decisions.

So, moral of the tale is: continue working hard, up until the very day that is last of year. And, prepare to function even harder (but have a lot of enjoyment too) in university!
